ENTRY REQUIREMENTS


No previous knowledge required, but a good general education is essential as this is a demanding course. An excellent level of English is required. You must be able to speak, read, write and understand English fluently. You may be asked to sit an entry test if necessary. Students must be over the age of 16 before commencing with this training course.

Before beginning this Acrylic Nail Course, students must hold a recognised Manicure and Pedicure course or attend one of our courses on Manicures and Pedicures.To achieve a professional finish that will ensure repeat business from clients, it is essential that students acquire the necessary skills to properly prepare the nail first, before applying any extensions or overlays.

 

DURATION

This course is offered during a daytime over a period of 1 day or evenings over a period of 3 weeks.

The Academy of Beauty Therapy offers industry-recognised qualifications and at the completion of your course and providing that you provided sufficient evidence your will be awarded the following qualifications:

 

Acrylic Nail Technician - Awarded by The Academy of Beauty Therapy

 

 Of which will enable you to obtain insurance from any recognised Insurance Company, which is necessary to work in the UK

For Your Lessons 

2 x A 4 Folders, 2 x pack's of 5 dividers, 100 Plastic Wallets, 100 Sticky Labels,

Pens, Pencils, Ruler, Colouring in pencils 

 
Your Uniform  Tunic, Black Trousers, Closed shoes.
