The Level 4 Radio frequency course will further develop the therapists knowledge, understanding and practical skills when completing Radio Frequency.

This treatment is a popular salon treatment for the advanced practitioners to tighten the skin, or help to reduce fat and cellulite.

Unit 5 - Be able to provide radio frequency treatments

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Level 3 Facial electrics and an advanced skin course is a prerequisite for this course.

A good general education is essential as this is a demanding course. An excellent level of English is required. You must be able to speak, read, write and understand English fluently. You may be asked to sit an entry test if necessary. Entry is via initial interview.

 

 

DURATION

Much of the qualification is completed as home-study, making this an ideal route for those who wish to study flexibly around other commitments. The practical training days required for the course will run from 10am – 4pm.  You will learn the theory of the treatment firstly, and spend the majority of the training days acquiring and demonstrating your practical skills.

 

 

COSTS

The course fee is £950.00 or £750.00 upfront for experienced therapists.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS AWARDED

The Academy of Beauty Therapy offers industry-recognised qualifications and on the completion of your course and if you have provided sufficient evidence you will be awarded the following qualifications:

 

·         VTCT Level 4 Diploma in Radio Frequency - Awarded by VTCT Examination Board

·         Diploma of Radio Frequency - Awarded by The Academy of Beauty Therapy

 

 

Both of which will enable you to obtain insurance from any recognised Insurance Company.
