ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
No previous knowledge required, but a good general education is essential as this is a demanding course. An excellent level of English is required. You must be able to speak, read, write and understand English fluently. You may be asked to sit an entry test if necessary. Entry is via initial interview.

 

DURATION
We have two methods of delivery :

  • Three days plus an assessment appointment which will be split over a period of three weeks to allow sufficient time to reflect on your learning and to start your case studies with guidance or
  • Seven weeks plus assessment appointment this will also will allow sufficient time to reflect on your learning and to start your case studies with guidance. 

Once you have completed the input of your course,you will need to complete 10 case studies. Then you will invited back within 4 weeks to complete your three assessments and two multiple choice tests.

This course can be attained within 3-6 months.

QUALIFICATIONS AWARDED

The Academy of Beauty Therapy offers industry-recognised qualifications and at the completion of your course and providing that you provided sufficient evidence your will be awarded the following qualifications:

  • VTCT level 3 Diploma in Swedish Massage - Awarded by VTCT Examination Board
  • Certificate in Massage - Awarded by The Academy of Beauty Therapy

Both of which will enable you to obtain insurance from any recognised Insurance Company.

KIT REQUIRED

  • Kit lists are available upon request.
  • Uniform - Tunic, Black Trousers, Closed shoes.

This is available on Thursdays between the hours of 6.00 am - 9.00 pm for the duration of 7 weeks.

Swedish Body Massage Course Daytime Course

This is available on Monday's between the hours of 10.00 am - 6.00 pm for the duration of 3 weeks.
